House Concerts
jen@jenchapin.com
While I have had the opportunity to play at some of the great venues across the country, some of my favorite shows have been house concerts. In the past few years, we have done many of them: for 85 or so people in Ferdinand IN, for 50 or so people in New Haven CT, for 30 or so people in Carlsbad CA, and so on. A house concert is simple: seating on some folding chairs, scattered couches or the floor; basic refreshments or a potluck meal; a bucket at the door for donation to the artists, and an intimate acoustic musical experience, unadulterated by amplification or spotlights. If you would like more information about hosting a house concert, please download the document here.
